Calling all female travellers… (start October)

Hi, I am Louise I am hitting the big 3 0 this year and have decided to take the plunge and have 6 months unpaid leave from work. This is my first trip travelling alone and as much as I am excited it is also a bit scary especially being a female alone! I am leaving in Oct and travelling to US for a few weeks then I am continuing on to NZ end of Oct before heading to OZ and then on to Thailand in the New Year. It would be really great to meet up with someone travelling with similar plans as all my friends are settled down or can’t afford it. Be good to hear from anyone if interested

My names hollie im 24 and am looking to start travelling mid-end october for around 6 months. My main port of call will be in and around australia but am also keen to visit some parts of the U.S and possibly thailand.
i have always wanted to travel but am in a similar positin to you where all my friends are tied down or unable to afford it so the fact i would have to go at it alone has always put me off slightly but im determined to do it now before its too late!
do you have anything booked as yet? what sort of itinery do you have in mind? and what parts of the us are you visiting?
