USA summer 2010

Hi guys,

Finally got the money, so am going to travel the states and a bit of Canada this summer. Was thinking mid to late June to mid august. going to fly in to New york and then was thinking of heading up in to canada ( montreal and toronto) and then back down in to the states and just generally go where the road takes me and hopefully have an awesome time. Was thinking at this stage of using greyhound as my main means of transport, getting one of their 60 day passes. At the moment I'm on my own, but would love to hear from anybody planning anything similar, as the more the merrier. Also would love to hear from any peeps who have done a similar thing already and could give me an idea of a decent budget or any advice really.
