Looking for Travel Companion for January 2010

Hey, I'm a 30 y.o. female, just got made redundant from a job that I hated anyway but couldn't leave because we're in a recession. Decision made for me. Perfect opportunity to jump off the hamster wheel and ride out this thing in warmer climes....except i'm a bit of a wimp or I just like some company....I know everyone says you meet people when you go away but I'd like to be going away with someone and none of my friends are ready....so if there's any one out there ....preferably female....who like me has just been dumped out of their job and would like to take off, maybe get in touch?! I'm thinking of going away in January. Haven't decided anything yet really. Thinking maybe Western Australia, Asia and South Africa leaving South America for another time. As you can see I am undecided and I'm quite flexible.

Hi!
I'm travelling to Hanoi on 24th Jan and doing a circular route through Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam to be back in Hanoi by 10th April. I plan to trek in the mountains in N Vietnam and in the jungle in N Laos. Would like to take a slow boat south down the Mekong to visit Luang Prabang, Vientianne and elsewhere. Then into Cambodia - Angkor Wat, Phnom Penh, maybe more trekking, more boat travel and some beach time. Then will work my way back up the Viet coast to Hanoi. All is flexible. If any of this interests you, let me know. I'm male, 55, recently retired London firefighter, fit, adventurous and looking for a companion to share all the experiences and sights and to share accommodation costs. I'm considerate, reliable and love the outdoors. Hope to hear from you.
