From Hong Kong to New Zealand september 2010

Hi,
I am planning trip for next year start from September 2010 (for 6 month)– Hong Kong overland to Singapore, fly to Cairns and overland to Sydney (over Christmas), fly to Auckland overland to Christchurch, maybe Fiji or Cook Island and if i safe enough money I might do some stop in S America... any one have a similar plans for next year?
