Lets go to South East Asia Feb-April!!

I am a 26 yr old female looking to travel to SEA from Feb. 1-early April. I dont have set plans for anywhere specific but would love to see Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and anywhere else people say is a must see. I have traveled alone before and think it's so much better to plan a trip with someone else and share fun experiences, I just dont have friends that can take off 2 months to go run around the world!

I am looking for someone who is easy going but still a level head for travel. Email me and let me know if you are going at the same time!

Done a lot of travelling to USA, UK, germany, Czech, Slovenia, Austria, hong kong and thailand.
Thailand is beautiful... most importantly it is reasonably cheap in my experience.

You are just a few months too early for me. I am retiring this coming June as a research scientist. I would love to spend a few months touring Vietnam as well as going up the Mekong possibly as far as Tibet. I'm sure you don't want to postpone your trip to travel with an old married guy. I do have history in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968. I claim to be one of the sane Vietnam veterans from the meaningless war many years ago. Otherwise, great luck to you. Hi, yes, I still want to go to SE Asia. My plans are now for spring of 2011. I will be doing Patagonia in November/December of this year. I am further on the planning for Patagonia than I am for SE Asis. As part of the planning for SE Asia, I have read a couple of books that give a lot of good information on the Laos and Cambodia via the Mekong. These are: The River's Tale, A Year on the Mekong by Gargan. The other is: The Indochina Chronicles by Karber. Both are available on Amazon.com. The one by Gargan was particularly good. What about your plans? Where are you on that? Rion
