Welcome to travelIn2s (partirA2), the board to find a travel companion!

Let me first introduce myself. My name is Ariane and I am the board administrator. I would like to tell you particularly about how this website works and the origin of its creation.

An idea!

In the spring of 2007, I decided to go to New York, a place I had been wanting to visit for many years. I originally wanted to go in June with a friend, but I couldn’t find anyone to go with me at that time. So I looked for a website specialized in this kind of ads but couldn’t find any. I then said to myself "Why not create one?"

This board is aimed at anyone over 18 years old looking for a travelling companion, or just wanting to share their good or bad travel experiences.

How does it work?

You post an ad to find a companion. People will initially reply through the board, but can then follow up via other media (e-mail, telephone, etc.). The idea being that you get an opportunity to know each other, even meet, before actually travelling. However you don’t have to live in the same area. You can decide to meet at the departure airport/station, or at the place of destination.
Even if the title is "travelIn2s", you can already be a group and look for a 3rd, 4th... person to travel with. You can also search for someone to share transport or hotel costs.
And of course, you don’t have to stay together every minute during the whole trip, it’s up to you to decide...

Terms of Use

If you are not registered (not a member), you can only read messages.
As a member, you can post and reply to messages. You also have access to private messages which allow you to contact and be contacted by other members privately.

For security and confidentiality reasons, all personal information like phone numbers or e-mail addresses is removed.
